Tuesday 17th June 2025 was quite a day. The Regtransfers team attended our fourth consecutive Supercar Driver Secret Meet and, as always, this unique event was a real experience.
Readers of our free magazine, The World of Personal Number Plates, will be familiar with the Supercar Driver brand, and some may even be Supercar Driver members who have attended the event themselves. We published an interview with Adam Thorby, the man behind the brand, in issue 55 of our magazine.
Exclusive
Supercar Driver's Secret Meet is the UK’s most exclusive and private gathering for supercar owners and enthusiasts. The event takes place at Silverstone, legendary home of British motorsport, and brings together some of the world’s rarest hypercars, iconic race cars, and passionate supercar owners for a one-of-a-kind experience.
The Secret Meet is strictly a by-invitation-only event. Adam Thorby expressed his commitment to that when we interviewed him: "People keep saying 'Oh, you should open it up to the public; you'll make thousands' but it's not about that at all. It will always be private and invite-only."
For those hoping to join Supercar Driver and get an invitation of their own, patience is key, as there is quite a waiting list.
Celebration
The 2025 Secret Meet marked Supercar Driver's 15th anniversary and, as one might expect, this celebratory event didn't hold back. Attendees experienced a £100 million hypercar display, GT3 demos and much more. Additionally, the whole day was livestreamed.
This year's Secret Meet was also special for Regtransfers, as it was the first time we have had the privilege of attending as an exhibitor with our own stand. Surrounded by amazing cars, enthusiastic drivers and terrific private number plates, we really were in our element.
Onwards and upwards
As the UK’s most exclusive gathering of supercars, hypercars, and true automotive royalty, Secret Meet has continually raised the bar with each event. The 2023 meet took place at Donington Park and introduced the first-ever track shootout. The following year, 2024's Secret Meet saw the move to Silverstone, celebrating community spirit with the “Noncours” – a twist on concours for well-loved, driven cars. And then came 2025, a truly special year demanding a truly special anniversary event - which was delivered in full.

We're not often lost for words, as blog and magazine readers will have noticed, but it is genuinely hard to find the words that adequately describe the Secret Meet experience. The descriptions above barely hint at the atmosphere, excitement and sense of community in which visitors are immersed.
Secret Meet is the heart of the UK’s high-end motoring scene. As the interest and enthusiasm shown at our stand proved, it is where we belong. It just feels like home to be amongst so many people who are excited by the same things we are, and who speak our car-obsessed language!
With 3,500+ members and £100M+ of eyewatering automotive excellence on show, Secret Meet is the ultimate environment to connect with passionate car lovers. For us it represents an amazing opportunity to meet many of our longstanding customers, some of whom have come back to us again and again. It's also the place to connect with new customers eager to apply the perfect finishing touch to their own four-wheeled pride and joy.
Supercar Driver's Secret Meet has afforded us the opportunity to grow meaningful connection with an amazing community. It's more than an event, it is a family.
