RT Team Spotlight

A note from the team...

Welcome to our first issue of 2010. Our interview this time features cross-genre violin virtuosa Vanessa-Mae. To our disappointment Vanessa didn’t have her instrument with her when we delivered her new VI MAE personal number plates, so no private performance! Nevertheless, we enjoyed our interview with this exciting musician.

Although the UK’s recession dragged on rather longer than many had anticipated, the market for high quality private registrations remained resilient and really quite buoyant. 2009 saw some fantastic sales, with several UK numbers achieving prices in excess of £100,000 and 1 D making more than £350,000, making it the third most expensive UK registration sold to date. Although we are not yet very far into 2010, 1 OOO has already sold for £80,000, so the signs are good for another year of lively buying and selling.

We also bring you another article illustrating how private number plates can be exploited for marketing purposes. Marsha Hall found the perfect registration to promote her shoe business. Read her story here.

Finally, our friends at the Registration Numbers Club have announced the date of their 2010 RNC Rally.
