Autumn Almanac

Welcome to the Autumn 2009 issue of Regtransfers.co.uk: The World of Personal Number Plates.

In this issue we revisit Sir John Madejski, who featured in our second ever issue. We’ve felt for some time that the brevity of the earlier interview didn’t make the most of the opportunity, and Sir John was kind enough to allow us back for another chat.

One of the business-orientated stories this time features Andre Senyk and his online optical business SpeckyFourEyes.com. Andre spotted a gap in the market that he exploited to his advantage and to the benefit of consumers. We are also delighted to re-introduce the RT Team Spotlight. This time we feature Lianne Randlesome of RegAlert.
Read all about it.

And the winner is . . .

In our Summer 2009 issue we gave you the chance to enter our online competition to win a night’s bed and breakfast for two in the luxurious setting of the Ramside Hall Hotel and Golf Club - The North-East’s most prestigious hotel. The winner is Gillian Hanson from Staffordshire, who correctly identified ‘Pemberton’ as the name of the family
who owned Ramside Hall before it became a hotel.

Oops!

Finally, we introduce what will, no doubt, become a regular feature of this editorial. We like to call it our errata section…
We offer our sincere apologies to entrepeneur Forbes Robertson - who featured in our Summer 2009 issue. We managed, somehow, to print his surname as ‘Robinson’. Our entire production staff has been reprimanded and referred to an optician.
