Meet Sir Isaac Newton who was born on Christmas Day, 1642 at Woolesthorpe, Grantham, Lincolnshire. Although, when the new Gregorian calendar was adopted in 1742, the date was changed to January 4 th, 1643. He eventually died on March 31 st, 1727 by the new calendar.

He is best known for defining the law of gravity thus: “Every object in the Universe attracts every other object with a force directed along the line of centres for the two objects that is proportional to the product of their masses and inversely proportional to the square of the separation between the two objects”. The apple falling from the tree story is so much easier to understand and so concludes our history lesson.

What can be drawn from this law is that every object in the universe attracts every other object in some way, and that is exactly what we are hoping is going to happen when you look at this superb number plate. The biggest attraction being that it is the ultimate Newton registration and needs no “tweeking” to improve its looks – it is what it says and is instantly recognisable.

If you are one of the many thousand of Newtons with this proud historical name don’t miss this once in a lifetime opportunity. Our sales advisors will be happy to explain just how easily it can be transferred onto your car, or even onto a certificate if you desire, then guide you effortlessly through the whole process.
