New Magazine
It only seems like a few weeks since we released a new issue of our magazine, but already we have another for you!
Regtransfers.co.uk: The World of Personal Number Plates enjoys a return visit with Sir John Madejski, OBE. Sir John was one of our first celebrity guests back in our second ever issue. The article that resulted from that first meeting was, in hindsight, a little insubstantial so we asked Sir John if he'd be willing to allow us a new interview. We're happy to say that he was up for it.
In addition to the interview, we bring you the same broad variety of unbeatable number plates content that you have come to expect from Regtransfers.

DVLA Wields Blue Pencil Yet Again
Another thing you may have come to expect from us is a periodic update on the DVLA's favourite hobby, number plate censorship.
Amongst the latest crop of registrations to fail the authority's inoffensiveness (is that a word?) are examples which supposedly bear resemblance to words with sexual, anatomical and political connotations. Combinations containing 59ANK (spank), 59ERM (sperm) and 59EED (speed) have all been deemed to have the potential to warp the fragile minds of the public and so they have been withdrawn for our protection.
Apparently, there is a danger that exposure to character combinations containing B10 GAS (bio gas), B10 WAR (bio war) and B10W UP (blow up) may turn us all into terrorists, so those have also been banned - presumably in the interests of national security... or something.

There are currently over 3000 photographs in the Numberplates.com gallery. We are constantly adding more, and we'd love to see your number plate photographs!
If you have, or can take, pictures of unusual, rare or amusing number plates and the cars that bear them, we would be very grateful if you would send them to us for the gallery.
Please send your photos to pr@numberplates.com.
