Number Plates Auction

The issuing authority held another of their regular auctions on 5th, 6th and 7th of September 2007 at Dormy House Hotel, in Broadway, Worcs.

Amongst the stars of the show this time were 111 S which sold for £31,000, and a selection of good "Sikh/Singh" plates including 551 KHS at £17,100, XX51 NGH at £17,000 and S1 NCH, which sold for £18,000. Some of the most coveted plates at sales in recent years have been examples that have appealed to discerning members of the Sikh community. In 2006 MR51 NGH sold for over £100,000, and 51 NGH sold for a spectacular £254,000!

There is a remote possibility that some of you still haven't heard about Numberplates.com's great photo competition. If that is the case, then please do dig out your camera and enter to qualify for your chance to win a terrific Apple iPod Nano MP3 player!

Numberplates.com, the number plates club, is inviting website visitors and club members to send in their number plates photographs. We are looking for good photos of personal number plates and the cars that display them. We would like to publish the best pictures on the internet and probably in our magazine as well, so we really are looking for good quality, clear photos. Unfortunately, the lower resolution images taken by most mobile phones simply aren't usually of acceptable quality.

Photos that meet quality requirements will be entered for a free prize draw, and the entry pulled from the hat will win a 4 gigabyte iPod Nano music player.
