Lily's Plate

Craig Duhamel and his wife were married on 17th June 2006 after being together for over 10 years. They always knew that we wanted children and both felt that then was the perfect time to start a family.

When They found out that they were expecting, they were over the moon. At the first scan they we were told that the baby was due on the very date of their first wedding anniversary - and Fathers' Day, to boot! Everything was perfect.

But Jodie gave birth on 11 th May 2007 - nearly six weeks early. They named the tiny 4lb 13oz baby girl Lily Rae Duhamel. She did really well and came home when she was six days old.

"When we were all settled at home," said Craig "I was browsing the Regtransfers website and typed in my daughter's name and up came L111 YRD (Lilly R D), the perfect number plate for my perfect daughter!"

The couple decided straightaway to buy it for her. So, Lily had her very own private plate when she was just five weeks old, a week before she was even due to be born!.

All she needs now is a car to put it on so the Duhames had better start saving. Mind you, they have got at least seventeen years.
