Not Just for Show

Dr Nick  King and his wife have always had an interest in personal number plates. When they spent time thinking about how to incorporate their names into a registration they realised that there were many possibilities available. Even so, finding the perfect number was not easy, as they really wanted to find something quite special.

“We have been dog owners for many years,” says Nick. “And more recently we entered into the world of dog showing, particularly with the new puppies that we recently acquired. Archie and Angus are Cairn Terriers, and the show scene involves lots of lengthy car journeys. We thought it might be a nice idea to try and find a registration plate that matched our breed.

“We searched on Regtransfers.co.uk for ‘Cairn’ and C4 YRN came up at a very reasonable price and was the closest match we could find for the name we wanted and it seemed quite rare too.

“It’s a great and unusual way to display our breed on our car and to highlight the breed for others and is certainly a sure way of displaying our devotion to our dogs.
