Classic Ferrari Number Plates Auctioned
Over the next couple of weeks, Ferraris are hitting the number plates headlines as two legendary personalised registrations are to be auctioned by the DVLA.
In the DVLA's first sealed bid auction, the two private number plates receiving the greatest interest are 250 SWB and 250 TDF, both of which refer to impressive Ferrari models. The latter of the two is of particular interest to those wishing to celebrate Ferrari's impressive 1950s and '60s era. (The 250 models dominated the 5-day Tour de France race during that time.)
Damian Lawson, Marketing Manager for DVLA Personalised Registrations said: "These are two classic registrations for two classic Ferraris; there's no doubt about that."
Both private number plates have a reserve value of £1,200 but are expected to sell for far more. The highest bidder will secure the plates when the sale finally concludes at 2pm on Friday, 31st October.
