Ferrari have chosen a number plate to supply the perfect finishing touch to their new California sports car.

The new model will be released in the UK on Friday 3rd July at the Goodwood Festival of Speed.

The much-anticipated California model is Ferrari's very first coupe cabriolet and is considered by many to be the ultimate two-plus GT.

The recent availability of the F-series registrations provided the perfect plate, F1 CAL, which will be used to publicise the new car.
