Dancing Boxer Hopping Mad After Car Prang
Strictly Come Dancing celebrity contestant, Joe Calzaghe, is not exactly dancing for joy after some recent modifications to his £50,000 Audi RS4.
A council digger vehicle accidentally ploughed into the boxer's stationary vehicle in Blackwood, South Wales, causing an estimated £8000 worth of damage.
After a few choice words from Calzaghe, the drivers swapped insurance details. A witness said: "The driver realised who he had hit and didn't know whether to laugh or cry. But Joe soon calmed down."
Joe, Britain's only undefeated boxing world champion, proudly displays the registration BOX 3R on his 155mph car. Like many sports personalities, he obviously enjoys the kudos a really special personal number plate brings.
Many of his contemporaries in the sporting world have also marked their achievements with their own private plates. For example, fellow pugilist and WBA World light-welterweight champion, Amir Khan has not only the splendid BOX 111G, but also a host of other related numbers, including V60 XER and A180 XER.
