Auction of 1 D, March 25th 2009 (£352,411.25)

1 D was sold at a DVLA auction at Ardencote Manor Hotel and Country Club, Claverdon, Warwickshire on 25th March 2009. Including all fees and taxes, the purchaser paid £352,411.25, making 1 D the 3rd most expensive number plate ever sold in the UK, and the most expensive sold at a DVLA auction.

Auction of 1 O, Jan 2009 (£210,242)

1 O was sold at a DVLA auction at Whittlebury Hall in Northamptonshire on 30th January 2009. Including all fees and taxes, the purchaser paid £210,242.

Auction of 1 HRH, Jan 2009 (£113,815)

The sale of 1 HRH at the DVLA auction at Whittlebury Hall. Despite media speculation that the plate would sell to a foreign prince for a record sum, it just didn't happen. Nonetheless, the number still achieved a very, very respectable £113,815
