TV motoring expert Jason Dawe worked in the automotive industry for many years before making his move into broadcasting and publishing. His varied roles included training manufacturers and dealers and making presentations to live audiences.

Jason was born and raised in Cornwall where, in 1986, he began a career as a car salesman for a local dealer. In 1989 he moved to London and for the next six years sold vehicles for many top manufacturers including Rover, Citroen, Mercedes Benz and Porsche, achieving Salesman of the Year accolades on several occasions. In the mid 1990s, Jason joined automotive specialist management consultants Mitac, who advised many of the world's leading motor manufacturers and dealers.

Jason's wide experience in the industry quite logically led to media appearances in the press and on TV channels, including BBC2 (Top Gear), ITV, Granada Men and Motors and UKPeople.

Jason is married with 2 daughters and lives in Somerset.
