Penny Mallory may be best known to many as a face from the television, but she earned her media exposure the hard way. In 1993 Penny became National Ladies Champion Rally Driver and went on to further success as one of the UK's top rally drivers. Her career broadened later as she worked as a precision stunt driver. Even if viewers at the time didn't get a clear enough glimpse to recognise her, there can be few who missed her performance in the famous Renault Clio ads, where she did the driving for both 'Nicole' and 'Papa'!

Penny was the only female presenter on Channel 4's long running television series Driven, which was the first motoring programme to knock Top Gear off the air after 21 years. No small achievement.

In another well-received TV appearance, Penny presented Channel 4's World Rally Championship as well as several other sport auto shows.

Penny was the first woman in the world to qualify to drive a World Rally car. She raced a Ford Focus WRC in her first rally for five years, the Rally of Great Britain - the last round of the World Championship. She was the first woman over the finishing line and won 4 awards including the Ladies and Journalists Trophies.

Penny is also a successful journalist and has written for many publications including Mother and Baby Magazine, BMW Magazine and 4Car.

These days, Penny spends much of her time as an after dinner speaker, events host and motivational speaker.
