Seeing Double?

If you have browsed a few of our private number plates testimonials you may have noticed that some of them appear twice on the page, like the one above for car registration B19 SAR. Don't worry, you're not seeing things, and we haven't gone mad. There is a reason.

We sometimes like to show a scan of the original letter. It adds a bit of authenticity and personality to our testimonials. We know, from looking at other sites, how easy it is for some companies to fabricate glowing testimonials, and we want to do what we can to demonstrate the genuine nature of the feedback we publish - while still affording the customer some privacy. Our testimonials are always published with the approval of the owner of the number plate in question.

So, that is all very well, but if we publish a scan of the letter then what you see is an image, not real text, and search software cannot read the text images. To make it easier to use searches to locate specific customer feedback, we add a real text version of the scanned letter underneath the original so it can be found by a search.
