Marketing through Number Plates

Other than conventional advertising, here at Regtransfers we are fortunate enough to be able to market our product on our own vehicles. In our case this just happens to be three Smart Cars. We have had a Smart Car for six years and although it was originally new and eye-catching the one thing that really caught people’s attention and imagination was the number plates it sported.

Like so many things the car became a familiar sight but the number plate became the main talking point. So much so that since having a Smart car the various registrations displayed on it have invariably been sold, REG 1 being the latest. How appropriate for a car registration company. Currently it has 1 CAD on board and judging by the interest shown to date it won’t be around long either.

What this has shown is that, like so many of the companies that buy from us, using appropriate or interesting number plates on company vehicles really does draw attention to the business and will definitely prove an invaluable marketing asset.
