Magical Christmas Present for Harry Potter

POT 73R

A young Harry Potter look-alike from Luton has found the perfect Christmas present for the magical character he plays in his local theatre.

David Pratt, a twelve year old Harry Potter fan was delighted when his uncle, who works for local number plate company, Regtransfers.co.uk, told him they had purchased his ideal number plate, POT 73R - he couldn’t wait to get his hands on it! “It is such a cool plate, it would be great if Father Christmas could get it for me!”

David plays the young magician in the pantomime ‘Aladdin’ at the Radlett Arts Centre in Hertfordshire. Mum, Beverley said: “David comes on as Harry near the end of the panto, giving the play a quirky ending with a distinctive Harry Potter flavour - the audience love it.”

David was upset when he missed the auditions for the part in the hit film Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone, but he is keen to find out where the auditions are for the third film, so he can go along. Beverly said, “David is such a massive Potter fan – he’s read the books eight times so far! He has been going to acting classes for three years now at Barnfield College in Luton. They do singing, dancing and acting.”

David said: “My ambition is to be in an action or adventure film. I would love to play Harry in a West End Theatre, and have the POT 73R plate on my broomstick!”
