Always remembered, never forgotten

John S. Harrington from Gainsborough in Lincolnshire bought the personal number plate J5 THW as a memorial to his late wife Tina Harrington-Wells.

“Tina sadly died aged 42, two days before Christmas 2000 in Lincoln County Hospital following complications after a routine operation. We had been married for only five years. The registration means a great deal to me and will be cherished for the rest of my life.”

John originally wanted to buy a number plate with Tina’s date of birth,
9 November, but found that the number 911 was very popular amongst Porsche drivers, and therefore quite rare. “J5 THW was just right, J for my initial, 5 for the five years we were married and THW for Tina’s initials.

I know she is still around me, I have heard movement in the house. It all helps to comfort me.” The plate is on John’s white Mercedes.
