England Victory Creates Historic Number Plates

A couple from Rotherham, South Yorkshire have bought two number plates to mark England's momentous victory against Germany on Saturday.
EN51 GER (England 5, Germany 1); GB51 GER (GB 5, Germany 1) were purchased by Mr and Mrs Spalding to make up for Mr. Spalding missing the historic game.
"My husband is a joiner and he was working at a school. The job needed to be finished before the beginning of term. I taped the game and he watched it on Sunday night, but it wasn't the same, the atmosphere wasn't there. We bought the number plates to make up for the disappointment of missing the live game."
The only other person in the country to think of spelling England's victory on the new style number plates was a man from Surrey, who purchased WE51 WON (We Won 5 -1). Top Salesman, Stuart Henson, at Regtransfers.co.uk, the largest number plate dealer in the UK, sold all three number plates.
"I watched all five goals myself and as soon as these enquiries came through I knew they would be collectors items for the future. Like everyone else, I was delighted with the result. I am sure that these plates will raise a few patriotic smiles!"
