Back to Nature...

Well, all right. Back to the hills half a mile from the office then... Not exactly a pristine natural habitat, but really not bad for a spot so close to town...

Despite the fascinating and rewarding nature of the work I do here (oh, how I wish they'd let me sleep at the office...), I must say I do like to go for a wander at lunch time. I've been trying to get the hang of this photography lark, and every now and then I manage to snap something recognisable. Admittedly, 90% of the time it is a recognisable image of my thumb, or the ground, but give me a break, it's a new camera. Oddly, I used to get similar results with my previous one, but that's beside the point.

Anyway, today the great outdoors was saturated in this stuff that my history textbook claims was once known as sunshine. Anyway, hot and sunny seemed to be the ideal hint that I should go out with the camera.

Here are a couple of the victims of my attention. I know they're nothing exciting, but compared to the shots I was producing a couple of weeks ago (coloured smears and blobs, basically), I don't think they're too bad. In fact, they're so good that you'll want to click on the pics to see the bigger versions... aren't they?

And just to maintain some passing relevance to private number plates (that's what we do here, you know), here are a couple of themed registrations we currently have for sale.

Now if that obscure, and slightly forced, segue doesn't convince you that we can find the ideal private reg for just about any occasion... well, I wouldn't be too surprised. Meh...
