Private Number Plates Pitfalls

Bookmark and Share

I saw this article on the BBC site... clicky the link.

It doesn't matter how many times we tell people that we can't supply them with number plates featuring "custom" spacing, there are still those who prefer to risk a fine by purchasing mis-spaced sets from back street vendors.

What many don't realise is that a fine is just the beginning. Anyone with with a good quality personalised registration, or one of investment level value, is asking for a world of pain if they risk displaying it on non-compliant plates because... the authorities can take away your registration! They can withdraw your entitlement to your personal registration if you deliberately break the display regulations, and they do not have to compensate you for its loss.

Please don't risk it. The authorities are taking more notice of number plate issues. The last thing we want is for any of our fantastic customers to lose the great registrations they have bought from us.

If you need any advice about displaying your registration please give us a call on 01582 477333, or contact us using this link.

Quite right too - this page should be mandatory on all reg sites. Not all teenagers and others alike will listen to parents. I should know with twins of 18 and a 21 year old.
