Rick Cadger

Rick is another denizen of the Regtransfers.co.uk marketing department and another person who claims that his main role is very, very secret indeed. Some have taken to mean that, like Adam, he isn't sure what he is supposed to be doing.

Rick writes much of the content for our magazine, Regtransfers.co.uk: The World of Personal Number Plates. He also writes the Regtransfers blog... which, the sharp-witted among you will realise, means he is typing this. He is currently a little concerned, as he has read that referring to oneself in the third person is sometimes considered an indicator of instability.

Unlike Barry, Rick is not a musician - however that does not stop him playing mandolin. He does subscribe to Adam's theory that the acquisition of more instruments improves one's playing, and he has consequently just bought his fifth of these little guitary-looking things.

Rick is a master of disguise, and habitually masquerades as a bald, middle-aged, chubby bloke. This assumed persona is so convincingly implemented that none of his colleagues have shown any sign of suspecting a thing. At times he wonders whether he would have done better had he chosen a career in the theatre. His employer has often been heard to wonder the same thing.

In the image above, the spider shown on Rick's head is genuine. It is a specially trained stunt spider named Malcolm. By an astonishing coincidence, the huge red nose maliciously added to the image by our webmaster, conceals Rick's equally huge, equally red real nose.
